Our Worship Services are at 10:45 AM on Sundays. Our morning worship features a blend of new and old praise songs and the preaching of God’s Word. We have a nursery during this service and a special Children’s Church time during the morning worship service preaching time.
Jesus said that God seeks people to worship Him “in spirit and in truth.” The “spirit” half of that instruction means that we worship sincerely from the heart. The “truth” half means that we must follow God’s path in the expression of our worship. We seek to find that balance in everything we do in our worship service.
Our worship service features older and newer songs led by a worship team with several instruments and vocalists. We aren’t “cutting edge” and we are “traditional.” Our worship is more “reflective” than “expressive.” Above all our goal is to rejoice in the great life Christ has given us. Most people who come into our church for the first time notice the joy and passion we have for the Lord.
We pray several times both to praise God and ask His help.
We receive an offering each Sunday for the support of the church and missionaries around the world.
The preaching of God’s Word is the heart of our worship service because God’s Word provides the “truth” which informs, empowers and guides our worship. God teaches us that our faith in Christ as Savior, our obedient Christian life, our prayers and praises, and our giving to His work all are aspects of worship. But these only happen as a result of hearing or reading, believing and acting on God’s Word.
Our pastor’s preaching is always based in a passage of scripture and utilizes many Bible verses in the explanation and application of the Bible. His outline, the Bible verses, and other illustrations and pictures are all projected with a video system to aid the learning process. Notes are provided in the weekly bulletin handout. CD’s and cassette tape recordings are available of each sermon.

To make the time in worship profitable for both you and your children, we offer a teaching time geared for children during the preaching time in our worship service. This program uses age- appropriate crafts, songs, and other methods to help your children learn God’s Word. You are also welcome to keep your young children with you in the worship service.

On Sunday mornings the youngest members of our church family are well cared for in our nursery. Loving caregivers take care of the needs of the babies each week. There is plenty of room for play and rest and there is a separate room for nursing moms where they are welcome to care for their infants.
You are welcome to keep your newborn with you in church or to use the services of our nursery staff. Our goal with childcare is to allow you to be ministered to in our worship and Sunday School services.
