- How should I dress when I come?   

     First Baptist invites anyone interested in hearing the message of God's grace, and does not require a certain type of dress to attend. You will find a wide variety of attire here; from casual wear to suits and ties. We invite you to wear what you feel comfortable wearing.    

- How many people attend First Baptist of Ferndale?

     Approximately 250 people consider First Baptist of Ferndale to be their church home. A typical Sunday morning attendance is about 190 people.

- What are the Doctrinal Beliefs of First Baptist?

- How does First Baptist receive financial support?

     First Baptist Church of Ferndale is supported exclusively through the free-will gifts of our members and attendees.

- Is First Baptist in a denomination with all the other First Baptist Churches?

    When our church started in 1887 it was common for the first of any kind of church in town to take the name, i.e. First Baptist, First Christian Reformed etc.

    Our church is part of the national association of churches called the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC). We are also called the Baptist Network Northwest. Each of these groups provide fellowship and opportunities to work together in ministry but do not have authority over our church.
